Ge Hui’s solo exhibition “RE.2011”, curated by Yang Wei and Cui Cancan, will be held by Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art on July 30, 2011. This exhibition will display over forty pieces of his work, including new works “Waiting for Being Frozen”, “Enjoying Flowers”, “The Young Man with White Plume” and so on. Invited critics Chen Xiaoxin, Wang Lin, Wang Nanmin, Guan Yuda, Wu Liang, Wu Hong, Bao Dong, Du Xiyun, Liu Libin, Lu Huan, Duan Jun, Lu Mingjun, Zhao Song and so on. The first impression given by Ge Hui’s works is straightforward and natural beauty. He always can use his instinct to catch the feeling given by the people or stuff, and then melt into his work. As an artist who is the generation after 80s, Ge Hui’s solo exhibition is definitely worth to look forward this summer.
