China ceramics and porcelain exhibition hall shined in Shanghai Art Fair last year. This special event will appear again; meanwhile the exhibition hall will be enlarged into 3000 sq.m.
 
 
The 13th Shanghai Art Fair Set New Actions Off
 
Shanghai Art Fair Organization Committee announced recently that the Pre-planning and layout of Shanghai Art Fair 2009 has been finished. Now the gallery recruitment is in progress.
 
Though financial crisis sweep around the world, Shanghai Art Fair will still maintain 24000 sq.m display area, leading other art Fairs in Asia. The purpose of Shanghai Art Fair this year, conclude in one sentence, is “try our best to help exhibitors looking for collectors”. Therefore, Shanghai Art Fair push three new actions out, help galleries pull through this difficulty times of art market.
 
The First Action: Increase  The  Amount of  Ads Heavily, Create Business Opportunities For  Exhibitors.
 
In order to attract more collectors participating in the fair, we will increase the amount of Ads from 112 last year to 150 this year, about 30 percent raise.
 
The Second Action: Provide Human Services, Try to Reduce The Cost of Participating
 
Considering several galleries is facing with the difficulty of shortage of fund, Shanghai Art Fair made a human adjust with parts of big-size booths, this year. We hope that some good small or medium-size galleries have the opportunity to participate in Shanghai Art Fair
 
The Third Action: Big Three United, Share Art Resources
 
Shanghai Art Fair has united Taipei Art Fair and agreed with KIAF that each will choose important collectors visit the other two art fairs and buy artworks. This will be the biggest resource integration activity in Asia art market.
 
At last, we hope that though these actions, not only maintain the scale of Shanghai Art Fair this year but also improve our service and gallery quality, make galleries and collectors restore confidence quickly.
