Yibo Gallery was established in 1998. It is one of the earliest commercial galleries in Shanghai, which has been focusing on Chinese contemporary art since its beginning. Under this clear focus and mission, Yibo Gallery has held a series of influential exhibitions at Shanghai Art Museum and Yibo space that actively develops the promotion and collection of Chinese contemporary art.

At the beginning of 2008, Yibo Gallery moved to No.2361, Yangshupu Road. The new site was renovated from an powder warehouse. The total area is 1500 square-meter, in which exhibition area is 500 square-meter, out door space is 200 square-meter, attached with warehouse, office and art studio. The venue would echo to the current artistic aura and meet the requirement of modern displaying mode.
