Statement:
Christin studied and worked as a graphic designer before discovering her true
passion of digital photo art and story telling through creative interpretation and
manipulation of photographic images.
Christin has lived in Germany, China and India, where she was always presented with an abundance of new subject matters: “My surroundings constantly inspire and challenge me to create new pieces that tell stories about its cultures and societies, with all of its unique contrasts and quirks. Each of my creations begins with a thought and a simple photo, mostly just taken somewhere in the street. From there, I tell a story: a surreal exaggeration of what I see or what happens around me every day." The results are digital photomontages; expressing - sometimes inconvenient - “artificial realities”.
