Shrine Empire Gallery is an amalgamation of two art entities- The Shrine Gallery and Empire Art. The gallery was envisioned as a platform for presenting and promoting contemporary visual art practices. Prior to the merger both have worked together on several shows in India and Singapore.

For over a decade The Shrine Gallery with Shefali Somani at its helm has dedicated itself to exhibiting and nurturing emerging talent, the gallery has constantly enhanced the quality of its shows to mirror the prevalent aesthetic traditions.

Anahita Taneja of Empire Art is a well established consultant for  Indian Contemporary Art. She’s been promoting young established artists and sourcing works for collectors, first time investors as well as Art Funds.
