Galerie Daniel Templon is delighted to announce that it will be taking part in the 18th Paris Photo international photography fair.
The gallery’s Paris Photo stand will focus on three artists:
- internationally renowned artistic duo Pierre et Gilles, who will be following up their successful spring exhibition on the theme of heroes with a series of pieces they have worked on together to create a world where painting and photography meet. A particular highlight is the first showing of their portrait of singer Stromae;
- American photographer David LaChapelle with his startling Landscape series, based on handcrafted scale models, that explores the theme of oil refineries and reflects the environmental and ecological concerns that have marked his work over recent years;
- the pioneer of "staged photography”, James Casebere, whose architectural structures, standing lost and alone in the midst of unchanging nature, continue his examination of the home as the utopian symbol of American society.
The stand will also feature works by Gregory Crewdson, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Kehinde Wiley.
