The concept of SBin Art Plus was started in Singapore by Soobin Art Gallery – one of the most prominent galleries in Singapore and was the first to introduce Contemporary Chinese Art in the region.Drawing from Soobin Art Gallery's 20 years of experience in the art industry, SBin Art Plus aims to expand from Soobin's portfolio to include modern and contemporary art from mainly Indonesia and around the world.

Located in the historic MICA Building, our inaugural exhibition, “Harmony,” on 9 October 2009 featured the works of 33 painters and sculptors and explored the idea of 'being harmonious though different.' The exhibition offered a diverse range of contemporary works from throughout the world and showcased unique pieces which have never been displayed to the Singaporean public before—marble sculpture by the renowned Columbian artist Fernando Botero and gold plated sculpture by British artist Marc Quinn. Following this grand entrance to the Singapore art scene, we will continue to be the advocate for compelling and challenging contemporary work by today's most exciting emerging and mid-career artists.
