One Hour Long Exhibition by Chosil Kil and Marie Lund
Date: 8 Apr - 8 Apr 2014

The artists will arrive with the artwork and together with the visitors enter the empty gallery space at 6pm. Within one hour they will unpack the artwork, install them in the space, adjust the installation and finally pack up again. At 7pm the artists, the artwork and the visitors will leave the space.

One Hour Long Exhibition at Artsonje will be the 5th installment of the project, which has previously been shown in London, Paris, New York and Vilnius. It invites the visitors to experience a compressed duration of the exhibition format including the installation, the exhibition and the de-installation. The project explores the temporality of an exhibition and with a natural sequence of actions, not scripted or rehearsed, it has a performative nature.

The process displays the interaction between the artists, the artwork, the space and the audience.
