Image cannot have a meaning by itself without a subject adding a value. Most of images are just a symbol with distorted essential by social value, rather than individual one. Dominant idea releases plenty of information, which make us hardly recognise a difference between light and darkness. Such general and unilateral information cripples our thinking and sense. In this chaos, we want object standard for information, but that is also subjective value by personal concern. Therefore, it is impossible to accurately understand valuable information among implanting messages in our daily life. Despite of this, Declaring worthlessness for an object apart from own standard can be easily found. To be away from the error, we need to admit a limit of objective judge and discover unrealistic value interrupted by dominant idea. 

Video installation 'signal' for this exhibition consists of seven channels. As the title implies simple and looping black and white single channel is separated from complicated images and various noise. Such single channel images are ironically reproduced through 7 channels. Color is minimised with a shadow and filled with repeated images. Each image is exposed fairly by minimum unit of time and there is a dark change between them at the same time. There is regular sound of water drop played, which reminds of the Earth's gravitational force. The subject of repeated image will be placed in a start point to draw a new image away from dominant thought. 

Jin Dallae and Park Woohyuk is an art community working on graphic, installation, photograph, and publishing. They focus on analysing the world in own language crossing graphic with arts and creating the unnamed new world.
