Can We Do [ ] ?
Artist(s): GROUP SHOW
Date: 5 Jul - 12 Jul 2014

The theme of a new exhibition and an unclear question without object, 'Can We Do [  ]?' is a problem, which 11 new critics had to have during preparing for the exhibition, as well as reflects 'survival' problems of young generation including young artists, critics, and curators.

5 artists, Tae Yoon Ki, Tae Hwan Kim, Hyun Woo Joo, Seon Haeng Lee, and Chung Ah LeeYang, and 11 critics and curators question themselves how to enter the society in different ways and research on 'eat and live' problem, a big issue of today to young people.

For example, Chung Ah LeeYang's '300/20' project specifically reveals economical limitation and sad reality of young generation from a simple question 'Can we buy a house in Seoul?'.

The exhibition is not only displaying and introducing works, but it also literally shows preparation process of many discussions. Through this, the visitors can experience agonies and conflicts of the exhibition and face with results of them visually at the same time.
