"Reinforcement" is a psychological term put forward by American psychologist B. F. Skinner. According to his theory, when an animal’s surroundings are controlled, its behavior patterns after reinforcement become predictable. With the word "power", the physics reference contained in the work is further highlighted.
The exhibition explores issues such as biological psychology and body instinct. To what extent can body instinct control our thinking, behavior and desires? Do human beings control the surroundings of animals? Does the nature control human beings? Or is it our biological structure that controls our desires, behaviors and everything else?
The exhibition will feature four pieces of work of young artist Lu Yang, including two paintings (Kraftm?use and The Paradise of Muscle and Tendon), one video installation (The Power of Mind 2.0 - Old Woman) and one music video (The Ruler - Electricity).
