Different from those high price artworks, some of the artworks from emerging artists could be bought easily. This is a fabulous way of expressing one’s own taste. This year’s YOUNG ART AWARD will also help audiences with the selection. YAT invites every gallery to recommend an artist whose age is under 45 to attend the contest. YAT also invites judges from different backgrounds for the award contest, such as the Chairman of Hong-Gah Museum & Chew’s Culture Foundation, Mr. Andrew CHEW; the chief executive of My Humble House and the art connoisseur, Michael T.C. WANG; the executive editor of Hi Art, WU Jing; Associate of MOCA Taipei, Director Novamedia(Australia) and famous curator in new mediaart, Annie IVANOVA; the general manger of trendy international interior design & Chairman of TAD Associates Inc. Interior Design, Mr. David TAN. The award winner will be a good sign for young collectors who wish to step into the field as the art collectors and connoisseurs. YEARLY TOUR PROJECT WILL BE HELD IN TAINAN
Tainan is the cultural city of Taiwan, which not only famous for its cultural heritages, but also renowned for its powerful art collectors. Therefore, YAT has created this Yearly Tour Project for the first time. The topic of this year’s event is ”The Age of Unrest”, the exhibition will be held from April 25th to May 6th in Tainan Der-Horng Gallery. Through the exhibition, the artists invite the audiences to pay attention to the chaotic life behind the good days and to reinterpret the way and the environment we dwell in. This year YAT will link the southern and northern art market and collectors together in Taiwan.

YAT X GRAFFITI IMPROVISATION @ ESLITE
In 2012, YAT will invite three graffiti artists, BOUNCE, COLASA, MR.OGAY to have a public improvisation at the Eslite, Tunnan, Xinyi and Tianmiu on the weekend of April 14th to 15th . They will also use “the Age of Unrest” as the topic as an echo to our Yearly Tour Project. They will for sure have a romantic street battle at Eslite, and share it with all the street walkers. The cooperation with Eslite and YAT is certainly a fusion of art and daily life, and it is also a rare live practice which will be presented to public.
