"Everyone even animals and plants are accustomed to new environments and new circumstances as time goes by. In order to understand and get used to a new environment one only needs time. Since I am from Korea, I consider America as my second home. Also my position in America has been changing as time goes by. I now most consider my statues as a female artist and as a wife. Once women get married, their life starts a kind of new again because their family trees will be switched under their husband’s. So I want to present my work as a Korean roots down in America. My previous work was about figuring out my identity and understanding different cultures and my present work is about settling down and establishing myself in the new environment besides enjoying the cultural differences…"
