The 3rd Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) photography biennial is returning for its third instalment, and will be opening on 5 October 2012. In its continuous mission to discover emerging artists and original, contemporary photographic works, the 3rd SIPF Open Call will feature works by 50 photographers from 25 countries in Singapore. The 3rd SIPF will be a month-long festival with a compelling mix of photography exhibitions, workshops, portfolio reviews, film screenings and forums, suitable for artists, professionals and amateurs. It is set to inspire everyone through the medium of photography, and hopes to encourage more interaction among artists and audience. A new component in the festival is Student Education which serve to inspire and to empower the young ones with the understanding of photography.
