Wesley Leon Aroozoo is the author of ‘Bedok Reservoir’ (Math Paper Pres, 2012). He writes for theatre, film and television and is a lecturer at Lasalle College of the Arts.

 

Chamber of Scissors

J wakes up in an unfarmiliar room with no memory. While being dolled up, she gets terrorized by the stream of memory of her own doings.

Fade to Salon consists of Asa, Hong and Kyle. The trio views story-telling as a good form of exercise to practise mindful living.

Having played various key roles in an array of film productions, Koh Chong Wu has trained himself to be a an all-rounded filmmaker since graduating from Nanyang Technological University. He is currently working on a short film about revenge, and a feature length horror script, whilst directing in Big3 Productions.

In the domestic setting of a bathroom, a married couple stirs the emotional pot of their relationship, through gossip and idle accusations regarding another couple. Their dissatisfaction simmers but never quite boils over.

A graduate from School of Arts, Design and Media in Nanyang Technological University, Dzafirul Haniff has created several short films as Writer/Director, or Cinematographer. He is the director of Abang (2013) and the cinematographer of The Transplants by Tan Jingliang (2013).

Russell Adam Morton is a Singaporean Artist and Filmmaker. His work has been exhibited in Greece and London. His last film, The Silent Dialogue of All Artworks was screened locally and internationally, at the 10th Singapore Short Cuts, the 4th Experimental Film Forum, and the Thai Short Film & Video Festival 2014. The film also garnered Best Experimental Film at the 5th Singapore Short Film Awards.

Nelson Yeo graduated with a BFA Degree majoring in Digital Filmmaking at Nanyang Technological University School of Art, Design & Media. Within 5 years, Nelson’s films have been showcased at prestigious film festivals not only in Singapore but also around the world. He is currently working on his first feature length script, Paper Soul.

 

Hill of Ice

A son decides not to attend his mother’s funeral. In return, his mother’s suffering is bestowed upon him, within the confines of his living world.

Trained as a filmmaker, Koo Chia Meng has been actively involved in film production since 2009. In 2013, he ventured into directing music videos for Singaporean musicians, as well as casting for feature films by Anthony Chen, Boo Junfeng and Liao Jiekai. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Fine Arts in Film Directing at the Taipei National University of the Arts.

Yeo Siew Hua is a member of the 13 Little Pictures film collective. He is one of the resident directors at Akanga Film Asia, and also a lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic. He wrote and directed the surrealist film IN THE HOUSE OF STRAW (2009).

Teo Wei Yong is a graduate from the Berklee College of Music in America. He is the founder of Gray Note Productions, a Singapore-based audio house that creates excellent music scoring and sound effects for films, animations, ads or videogames. Gray Note Productions’ projects have landed many film festivals around the globe, including Cannes, Pusan, Clermont-Ferrand and New York Television & Film Awards.
