Heaven Baek is an artist who releases artistic ideas and talent to her heart's content as a media artist and a performer. As seen in the most recent work The Agency, she focuses on the jobs and social phenomena unique to Korea, and grafting them to her art is a major part of her work.

The project 'Our Lady Vengeance' was made in a small town in Busan, where was used for a shooting location of Korean movie 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' directed by Chan-wook Park. Based on scenes local people remember, the artist worked on the screenplay and filmed in the seasons that followed.  

The artist has been interested in inside and outside of community or a situation made by different people and opinions so that a process of 'Our Lady Vengeance' was meaningful and experimental as choosing recording and restoring through encounter and conversation for a long time. As working on restoring residents' reality, the artist could participate in the local community. 

On the archive films installed in Insa Art Space, there are real scenes, such as a cat on the street or network between residents. Interestingly, some of records of the inside of the room were photographed by residents. Thus, realities of individuals become a history of group. 

The project could be showed as many issues, like a difference between play and reality which can be controversial. However, the artist doesn't want to define an 'answer' for a role of art in the society but make it a continuous question.
