For many people, a “home” is a place to return, and a symbol of spiritual ease and warmth. This scene of bliss has often been taken as the subject of artworks while stirring the imagination of artists. Meanwhile, there are the other people have faced the destruction of their homes in the wake of modernization, while others have been forced to flee their homes because of war or destruction. The exhibition includes a number of works with “home” as their theme and urges visitors to think about their homes and backgrounds.
