A scene like a fragment of an event, contrast between free line and blank, and heavy steel frame and glass panel on the edges. Artworks by O Jun will be on view at Fuchu Art Museum.

After studying oil painting at Tokyo University of Arts, O Jun studied abroad in Spain and Germany, and he announced a performance using an alloy brush in late 1980s. Since late 1990s, using various medium, pencil, crayon, watercolor and oil paint, he started painting figurative images. Also landscapes in Japan of Today including his beloved suburb of Tokyo can be found from an unique perspective.

In this exhibition, 150 artworks including 40 new works will lead us to a history of O Jun's art world.
