Self-taught; withdrew from final year in college to work under Jayapal Panicker at the Cholamandal Art Colony in Chennai.
 
Gained popularity after moving to Mumbai, with frequent shows at Pundole Art Gallery. Very positive reviews followed, and his work was very well received. Has since exhibited all over India as well as Europe, and has won several prestigious awards for his work.
