Land of Hidden Charms
by Oc-Eo Art
Location: Vietnam Embassy, London
Artist(s): DO Duy Tuan, DUONG Ngoc Son, PHAM Hoang Anh
Date: 20 Jun - 31 Dec 2011

Peter Quintana and the Partners of Oc‐Eo Art, a fine art company specialising in contemporary Asian fine art, today announced a new permanent exhibition ‘Land of Hidden Charms’ of Vietnamese contemporary painting on show at the Vietnam Embassy, 12 Victoria Street, London W8 5RD.

Launched in October 2006 at the Bath Spa Hotel by Peter Quintana, Oc‐Eo Art is the leading UK specialist in contemporary fine art from Vietnam, introducing work by both established and emerging artists.

His Excellency, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh said ‘We are very happy to support UK businesses like Oc‐Eo Art that are interested in and work hard to promote the culture of Vietnam, and of course delighted to be able to have on show in the Embassy these beautiful paintings by some very talented artists from our country.’

Quintana said ‘We have been working alongside the Embassy for several years, having mounted exhibitions to support the various cultural projects they have sponsored in London, so when the Ambassador asked if I would be prepared to exhibit some of our collection in the Embassy itself, we were delighted to say yes. This exhibition will be seen every day by people visiting the Embassy, and so is a great way for us to reach out to people interested in Vietnam and provide them an opportunity to see some of the artistic riches the country is producing.’

Oc‐Eo Art exhibit at art fairs and in private galleries periodically throughout the UK, and have permanent exhibitions at Regency Offices in Bath, Tamada Restaurant in London and Smiths, The Link in Harrogate.

The exhibition can be seen at the Embassy from 9.00‐12.30 Monday to Friday. Admission free.
