Oc-Eo Art, founded in Bath, England, in 2006, have developed relationships with some of Vietnam and China’s most exciting talents, and have introduced a substantial cross-section of work by artists with growing international reputations, many of whom have not been seen in the UK before.

During the last two years, we have:

-Mounted the inaugural London solo exhibition of Vietnamese artist Nguyen Dieu Thuy and Chinese artist He Hong Wei

-Organised the sale of 5 paintings by He Hong Wei to raise money for the China Earthquake Appeal. The paintings, which had originally been loaned to Oc-Eo Art for exhibition only, sold within 5 days of launching the appeal

-Been the sole exhibitor of Vietnamese painting at Asian Art in London Festival in both 2007 and 2008

-Supported Asia House and Warwick Business School with donations of paintings to fund-raising auctions which, in both cases, raised above our listed price for the works

-Sponsored Vietnamese art critic, writer and artist Nguyen Quan to London in order to deliver a lecture on the development of Vietnamese painting at a workshop on Asian Contemporary Art held by the University of London School or Oriental and Asian Art

We are also founder members of the West of England Fine Art and Antique Dealers Association (WEADA).
