NN Gallery is proud to present "Old & New", a selection of artworks by Malaysian artists from 27th June until 17th July 2012.

There will be new works by Samjis Mat Jan , Ismail Latiff and Marianna Saleh and old works by Datuk Chuah Thean Teng, Datuk A Samad Said, Yusman Aman, Jolly Koh, Eng Tay, Wong Keen, Anthony Chan Sai Weng, Norma Abbas, Chanthiran, Zulkifli Yusoff, Bayu Utomo Radjikin, Ahmad Fuad Osman, Rohaizad Shaari, Ooi Aik Cheong and Choh Kiat Siong . Also on show will also be a display of mengkuang weaving by Cikgu Ismail Hj. Salleh.

The mix hang will showcase batik works as well as paintings in oils, acrylics and watercolours with a range of styles and subjects. From the pastoral to figurative to abstraction, the works display the diverse expression and language by our Malaysian artists.

The works by up and coming artists hang side by side with works by established artists enabling viewers to see the continuity and influences of the older generation on the younger generation. The lines, the colours and the images allude to the expressive narratives prevalent in our artistic community.
