Founded in 1999, Art Musings was one of the first galleries to open in South Bombay’s Colaba area, which has since developed into a vibrant gallery district.

Art Musings nurtures a wide spectrum of artistic practices. It exhibits renowned Indian modernists such as F N Souza, S H Raza, Ram Kumar, Akbar Padamsee, K G Subramanyan and Jogen Chowdhury. It also shows international artists of Indian location, such as Nalini Malani, Baiju Parthan, Smriti Dixit, Jayasri Burman, Gopikrishna and Shibu Natesan.

As part of its commitment to the development of the Indian art scene, Art Musings has founded Afterimage, a publishing initiative, and will sustain a series of high-quality art-historical monographs.

Art Musings works with a collector base that is spread across India, Europe and North America.
