Gyeonggi Creation Center is pleased to present Living and Working in Flux, which features works by its resident artists Chang-Hoon Lee, Renata Padovan, Pj Bruyniks, and Julie Upmeyer. The exhibition explores two common, but unique, characteristics of artist in residence programs, which are temporality of time and space. The works in this exhibition show how artists have tried to engage in and interact with both current social issues in Korea and local cultures in Daubu Island, where the GCC is located. The exhibition includes a large-scale wall drawing, installations, sculptures, a video installation, and digital prints. There will be a special performance by Kyung-So Park and Tae-Rin Kim, who are the current residents of GCC, during the opening reception on December 12th, 2014.
