Among the art works of the 21st century, the human body is used as a medium to express languages.

The body conveys innovative meanings in visual arts such as drama, dancing, action painting and performance art. The human body has not only enriched the techniques of modern art as an expressional tool but it also impacts the audiences’ daily experiences, being an important structure for content, carrying different meanings, metaphors and symbols.
