Dang Xuan Hoa’s (b. 1959) unusual understanding of gravity and the improbable positioning of objects in his compositions, fills his paintings with great visual excitement. An artist who continues to probe his own creative impulses, Hoa’s diversely colored subjects are often collections of "man’s objects," portraits, or whimsical cats. His expressionistic style joins traditional objects in his unique creations.
