Judith Hughes Day, a founding partner of Galerie La Vong in Hong Kong from 1993 to 1997, has represented Vietnam's leading artists for twelve years. A graduate of Purdue University with a B.A. in Education/French and an M.S. in Education, Judith also has an M.A. from Columbia University where she studied East Asian Studies and Japanese Art History.

She has lived in Seoul, Korea, where she was a member of the Fulbright Commission, in Tokyo, Japan, where she co-chaired the annual Print Show of The College Women's Association of Japan, and in Hong Kong, in addition to Chicago, San Francisco, and New York.

The editor of the book, Fine Contemporary Vietnamese Art: Poetic Reflections, Judith has authored many essays and articles about contemporary Vietnamese art for various books and publications, and has spoken on contemporary Vietnamese art to numerous groups.
