"Japanese paper like beautiful wood grain, mineral pigments like jewel, and dyestuff that soak into the depths. From the complex form of mineral pigments appear slight and deep colours and tolerant being. It shows also various expressions by different way to heat and mix. Technique of simple and high purity paints goes deep.
The colour will carefully mixed by the hand and putting paints repeatedly, over and over. The mineral pigments that spending a lot of time to becoming it, can conserve 1000 years. Japanese paper that contains water, expand and contract slowly, seems to breathing, and to being alive. I still keep being impressed by those mixture of natural materials such as the animal, the plants, and minerals."
