Gallery R Singapore is pleased to present the premiere Asian exhibit of New York Photographer James Wilkins.

On display will be large scale photographs from the collections PALM CRESTS, IMPACTS, WATER COLUMNS and MOONRISE, among others, in a variety of unique print types. This sampling of works from the last 5 years reveals a widely diverse array of subject matter while simultaneously highlighting the singular vision of the artist. Touching on precedents from the history of modern art the artist imbues the often traditional subjects with an entirely original vision. The scale of the pieces serve to further detach the viewer from their accepted notions.
