Born in 1954 in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, Xu is an accomplished artist in China. Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, the artist travels widely and creates many excellent works. He has held successful solo exhibitions from time to time in Beijing (China Fine Art Museum) Taipei (Mountain Art Museum) and Singapore (Heng Artland) His most stunning work is a huge Chinese painting entitled " The Great Wall " (425x838 cm) commissioned by the Chinese authority and displayed in the Reception Lobby for foreign dignitaries at the Great Hall of the People since 2002. That painting has elevated him as world-renowned artist. After a lapse of 10 years, Heng Artland is honored to hold the second solo art exhibition for Xu Renlong and looks forward to continuing support of art-lovers and collectors in Singapore and beyond.
 
On display are 50 pieces of recent ink-wash paintings by Xu Renlong, these includes 30 landscape and 20 flower-and-bird paintings in small size (46x35 cm).
