Espace Louis Vuitton Singapore features China's top contemporary artist, Gao Weigang's first solo exhibition in Singapore. 

Titled Misconception, and curated by William Zhao espcially for the Espace Louis Vuitton at Marina Bay Shoppes, the exhibition highlights Gao's versatility through a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture and installation.

Characterized by the artist's excpetional skill and a dark sense of humour, the creations encourage viewers to evaluate the hidden meaning of each work behind their seemingly minimalistic composition, as Gao skillfully entwines this mode of expression to create engaging "misconceptions" for his audience. 

Gao Weigang (b. 1976) graduated from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and has exhibited worldwide including in China, U.S.A, U.K. and Australia. He currently lives and works in Beijing.
