A symbol of elegance and style throughout the world, Louis Vuitton has cultivated a close relationship with the world of art since its founding in 1854. For over 150 years, the house synonymous with French elegance and style has been working with the best artists, designers, engineers and decorators. Under the impetus of Marc Jacobs, Artistic Director since 1997, Louis Vuitton has been revitalized and new collaborations with artists such as: Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince, Stephen Sprouse and Yayoi Kusama, have proved the brand's commitment to push the dialogue between luxry and modern art even further. The Masion Champs-Elysees in Paris showcases the art of Tim-White Sobieski, Takashi Murakami, Charlotte Moorman, Laurent Saksik, Laurent Mulot and Heri Dono, while other Louis Vuttion Maisons in Taipei, New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Macau feature works by, respectively, Mithu Sen, Olafur Eliasson, Teresita Fernandez, Stephen Antonakos, Zhan Wang and Fabrizio Plessi.

The Singapore Island Maison inaugurated in September 2011 features also a bookstore and a gallery, which showcases inspiring exhibitions, art talks and book talks by emerging and renowned artists and speakers.
