Full Circle: An Exhibition of Diminutive Teapots by Fong Choo
by Sculpture Square
Location: Sculpture Square
Date: 13 Jun - 20 Jun 2010

Hailed by the Chicago Tribune as "a force, both professionally and personally", Full Circle: An Exhibition of Diminutive Teapots by Fong Choo is U.S-based master ceramicist, Fong Choo's inaugural exhibition in Singapore and will feature his award-winning teapots, which have garnered over forty major awards in the United States of America, including the prestigious Smithsonian Craft Show, the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft show and the American Craft Exposition among others. His works have also been featured in international clay publications such as Ceramics Monthly Magazine and Ceramic Arts and Perception Magazine.

Noted for his miniature and whimsical teapot forms, his recent invite to Israel by the Tel Hai Academic College (for an exclusive solo exhibition and as one of three presenters of a ceramic symposium) and another invite to The Metchosin International Summer School for the Arts, Canada (for a exhibition and demo) has indisputably ascertained Fong as a growing global influence. You may read more about him at /www.theartcircle.com.sg/news/featured/133-the-artful-teapot or see more of Fong's work on his website at www.fongchoo.com.
