The artist Kim, Sung-Ho recreates an imaginary world where the books in overwhelming scale are architecturally arranged and juxtaposed with toys, the tools for amusement and play. Kim shows books, the end-product of intelligence, alongside objects that symbolize childhood innocence. They are arranged horizontally or vertically as a unique metaphor for the duality of the contemporary mind, armed both with rationality and sensibility. The artist also reconsiders the process of drawing by taking the sculptural quality of a book and arranging them in a certain order, thereby, concentrating on the volume rather than its content.
