Dong Jin Kim liked a cartoon and a movie. When nobody was with him, he spent a time with those images. There was no pain in this time and he realized that it was a common sense embracing his generation. Also, he reflected on a difference between painting and cartoon or movie.
Between memories in childhood and characteristics of his generation and duty on painting, he carried out a drastic decision in 2008; he adopted anyglyph on painting.
Anyglyph is that juxtaposing 2 photos in green and blue respectively, and drawing a main theme to a four-dimensional space. When two different colours of photos are juxtaposed, main theme shakes like an afterimage. On the other hand, when wearing glasses made of cellophane, it looks as if main theme stands out in four dimensions.
