On paper, Mr. Lee carefully draws traces of plants with brush and ink stick. Fine lines shake and fall. It roughly associates the course of the birth and expansion, diffusion and extinction of life. Such timeless flows and the process of circulation spreads.
Thin and long stems soars up and a swollen ovary at the summit bursts. Soon, flower is born and seeds and pollen go floating in everywhere. From his paintings, such landscape occurs to me naturally. It is not a painting which reproduced appearance of plant laid like concrete landscape or a still object.
Reality is not nature. It might be nature in heart or a plant of mental image.
