Lee’s work rejects any authoritative, defined interpretation. We have to embrace objects as organically interacting, perfect things without a distinction between the superior and the inferior. The diverse gazes and gestures of figures toward objects reflect this attitude. We can reach a true communion through this completeness and recognition.
