Shin Sun-Mi adopts techniques used in old Korean paintings and wittily weaves ordinary stories together with traditional elements. In a flood of abstruse contemporary artworks, Gallery SUN Contemporary believes Shin Sun-Mi’s easily ‘readable’ paintings will give viewers a new level of visual experience, emotional relaxation and further a moment of imagination.
