The Tokyo and Shanghai Tolman Collections are delighted to invite you to a "First Time in China" major exhibition of the original paintings in sumi of Japan's super-star woman artist, Toko Shinoda.  Born in Dalian in 1913, Miss Shinoda and her work retain a freshness and vigor not to be found in artists who are even half her age. Her wonderful abstract expressionist paintings, of which some two dozen large works will be on exhibition and for sale include many which have been created especially for this major art event!
