This exhibition is the first of the series that we planned to showcase. Individually, the talents of the eight artists who made our portfolio - "Hope - Aspirations In the Abstract." Hasegawa Yuichi (b.1945) is the oldest of the eight artists who produced those prints for us. Introduced to us by Salto Kiyoshi who heartily recommended him to us, Hasegawa has been one of the stalwart artists of the Tolmna Collection since 1989. We have held frequent exhibitions of his work since then in our gallery in Shiba Daimon, and in such far-flung venues as Finland, Cairo, Singapore, and Wuxi - a 'small' Chinese city of seven million people close to Shanghai. He always draws a large crowd and continually brings forth wonderful prints in extremely small editions.
