Artist(s): Keisuke KONDO, Masanao HIRAYAMA
Date: 16 Mar - 14 Apr 2013
Using a technique of Japanese painting, Masanao Hirayama's bold composition usually can be found in Yamatoe, Japanese traditional landscape painting, and Keisuke Kondo shows paralleled objects with elaborated description. Kondo's work expresses the modern life, while Hirayama's one looks like a black-and-white drawing by the monk. Even though adopting new tools or information to their works, they still show traditional feeling and technique. For this exhibition, Kondo created painting on paper with wood panel, and Hirayama shows big-size works.
