Under the leadership of Tienmin Lin and the second generation gallery director David Lin and Cross Lin, Lin &Lin Gallery will continue the success of year 2012 and return to this year’s Art Taipei.
 
Since the early 80’s, Tienmin Lin, with the responsibility of re-organizing the history of Chinese Modern and contemporary art, has discovered and promoted important artists such as Sanyu, Wu Da-Yu, and Zao Wou-Ki. With thirty years of history and the spirit of ‘continuing glories of the past, creating classics of the future’, Lin & Lin Gallery has paid continuing attention to the development of Chinese aesthetics and become one of the important international promoters of art.
 
The cooperation between Lin & Lin Gallery and important artists has long gained recognition. Cooperated artists include Xia Yang and Hsiao Chin, the pioneers of Chinese contemporary art and founder of Ton-Fan Art Group; Kuo Wei kuo and Lu Hsien–Ming, representatives of Taiwanese contemporary painting and iconic members of Hantoo Art Group; Chen Chieh-jen, who has gained international recognition and exhibited across the world; Liu Wei, the most talented cynical realism contemporary artist in China; Zhao Gang, one of the first artists of Chinese Avant-garde; Mao Yan, who has long concentrated on the revival of contemporary portraits; and Yin Zhaoyang, representative of Chinese contemporary Avant-garde of the 70’s. In addition, Lin &Lin Gallery has devoted in discovering and promoting young artists such as Hung Tunglu, Liu Shih-Tung, Lai Chiu-Chen, Huang Chia-Ning, Chiu Chien-Jen and so on, adding to the abundance and variety of 20th century Chinese art. The works of these artists has not only been exhibited in various museums, art foundations both domestic and abroad, but also become important works for collectors. The efforts have gained these artists recognition across countries, making them foundations of Asian art.
