1980
Received the First Prize for the Oil Painting\"The Last Speech\" in the Fine Arts Exhibition of Guangdong Young Artists , China.
1981
Graduated and received the Master of Art Degree from the Oil Painting Department and engaged as an instructor in the Guangzhou Academy of Art , China.
Received the Second Prize in the Fine Art Exhibition of Guangdong Province for the watercolor\"Consolation\", it was collected by the Government of Guangdong , China.
1984
Received the Silver Medal from the Culture Minister of China and the Artist Association of China in the Sixth National Fine Art Exhibition of China for the watercolor "Song of Childhood".
Leave China to study abroad in Canada.
1985
Received the Graduate Scholarship from the University of Regina , Canada.
1988
Graduated and received the Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Regina.
