Sotheby's autumn auction ended in early October, and will be followed by the opening of Christie's in November. The results of the two major international auctions have always prompted the formation of trends in the art market, and members of the media race to report new turnover highs or market crash forecasts. Amongst this kind of chatter, however, we tend to focus on the numbers regarding art-works without actually exploring the essence of art within them.

Naming its exhibition, Untitled, Sakshi Gallery expresses the diverse possibilities of contemporary art that result from the collision of politics, society, philosophy, and life. Untitled comprises the artists' original emotional and creative natures. The exhibition brings together artists from Europe, America, India, and Cuba, including Gregory Crewdson, Julian Opie, Jitish Kallat, GR I ranna, Sudhanshu Sutar, Sunil Gawde, and Jorge Mayet, to share reflections on modern social phenomena and life experiences within their artworks.
