Gallery 55 presents Xu Ping’s debut solo show entitled “Another Life of Shadow”. The artist was born in China in 1985. He dropped out of China Defense Science and Technology Academy in 2007. Xu Ping began experimenting with many natural objects in daily life, such as fruits, vegetables and flowers, as common materials for his creations about a year ago. Those natural objects left traces of colours on paper after exposing under the sun for a certain period of time.
