For the 6th project show of FRONT.ROOM.LOOP, Jing Zheng presents her performance on video entitled “From white to dark”.
Jing Zheng ran back and forth along the river bank one evening. It was getting darker and darker over more than two hours’ time. Jing Zheng went through the experience of the passage of time as well as exhaustion until it became completely invisible.
About the artist:
Jing Zheng was born in China in 1985. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting, SiChuan Academy of Art with a Bachelor’s degree in 2008. She obtained her M.F.A. from same Faculty in 2012. Jing Zheng was also one of the receivers of LuZhongLi Scholarship in 2012. She was invited by ChenDu Biennale to participate earlier this year.
