55’s aims are to promote critical and engaging contemporary art practices and ideas through exhibitions & curitorial projects. “YELLOW.ANTS.ART.LAB” is an independent project launched in March 2013. It provides young artists an actual space for exercising their artistic context, in addition to possible international presentation.. For the 2nd project show, Hu Qingtai, a Beijing based artist, will present his documentary work entitled “The borrowing of art”.

Hu Qingtai was born in China in 1985. He graduated from Central Academy of Art in Beijing with a B.A. in sculpture in 2011.
