Dutch artist and designer Janine van Herwaarden, educated as an industrial designer with a Msc degree as well as an artist during the academic years, is going to showcase her latest works for the first solo exhibition in Shanghai. Having worked and lived in Sri Lanka and Singapore, Asia has a special place in her heart. These new works are largely inspired by different cultures and experiences in Shanghai after her intense experience of living in China. She loves to visualize daily life to touch people’s heart with their own story. She also loves to use different techniques to convey her creative thoughts. All these works from this exhibition show the characteristics of Shanghai as a modern city in day-to-day life.
