Hiraki SAWA biography | artworks | events

Hiraki Sawa (b. 1977) received his M.A. in Sculpture in 2003 from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College, London. He was most recently invited to make a new installation piece for the Best of Discovery exhibition at ShContemporary Art Fair (Shanghai, 2008). Sawa has had solo exhibitions at Chisenhale Gallery (London), National Gallery of Victoria (Melbourne), Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (Washington D.C), UCLA Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), and St. Louis Art Museum (Saint Louis). Sawa’s work was also included in major group exhibitions such as Busan Biennial, 2008; Yokohama Triennial, 2005 and Lyon Biennial, 2003. The Tellā€tale Heart – Spring 2010
