M97 Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of multimedia works by Beijing-based artist HAN Lei. Although best known and recognized as a photography artist for his bold portraits of unconventional subjects, Han Lei's extensive ouvre includes paintings, collages, objects and video art. The “Don’t Be Absurd” exhibition presents a selection of new photographs, collage works, and paintings, as well as little known video works from the 1990's.

The exhibition begins on Sept 15, 2012, and M97 Gallery will hold an opening reception in the presence of the artist on Saturday Sept 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the gallery.
